Going Unplugged

Delta Moon at Eddies Attic

Thanks to everyone who joined us last Friday at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia, for Delta Moon’s unplugged show. We had hoped for a good turnout. We were surprised and pleased to find a sellout crowd. I hope everybody had as much fun as we did.

Delta Moon still loves to get people up and dancing. But edges are blurring. There are more ways than one to bring an audience together, and no two nights are the same. After this experiment we’ve decided to keep doing acoustic shows now and then and, when the situation seems right, to include some acoustic elements in our regular shows.

I’d be interested to hear what you think.

Special thanks to Justin Chesarek, who joined us on percussion, to Vincent Tseng, who took the photos, and to Shalom Aberle, who mixed and recorded the audio.

Tom, didn’t make it to the unplugged show but looking forward to the Art Station tomorrow night. Last year’s storm induced indoor show was a great time for the small crowd but must have been tough for the band. Hard Times sounds great acoustic.
