Saturday Janet and I drove up to Old Car City in White, Georgia, about an hour north of Atlanta. Old Car City is basically 4,000 junk cars rotting on 30 acres of woods and fields. We hiked around for over two hours and didn’t cover half of it. Of course, we stopped a lot to take photos and videos.
About noon Sunday I decided to spend an hour putting together a video of our experience. By the end of my hour it was after six. This is just a sketch for a video of a song that hasn’t been written yet. But it was so much fun I’d like to share it with you. (No old cars were harmed in the making of this video.)
If you’d like to visit Old Car City, I recommend the experience. The owner would also like to show you his Styrofoam cup art collection, and before you go out back he’ll have you sign an insurance paper. Remember, this is the Georgia woods. Bring some bug repellant and look out for poison ivy.
